A variety of facilities is being provided by the school side along with special education are -

Therapy department is manned by two speech therapists, and specially equipped with a well designed software named DR. SPEECH VERSION - 4 , which enhances
the child expressive speech in play full manner.

: Occupational Therapy DEPTT. has one full time occupational therapist who uses sensory –integration therapy , cognitive –behavioral therapy , self -care skills training therapy, and neuro motor development techniques for differently abled children.

Psychological testing and counselling – following assessments are done:-

- Psychologist
- Medical

Counselling department is headed by an expert Psychologist cum Guidance Counsellor who helps in assessing the students which further helps in identifying slow leanness, intellectually gifted children and children with specific learning difficulties and mental retardation.

Computer Education - A separate fully equipped computer Laboratory is provided to the children who are taught by an expert computer teacher.

Integration - Since ours is an integrated set up, special wing children are integrated for the following activities.- art , computers , music.

OPD – we are providing OPD services to AFGJI general wing students who are diagnosed with
difficulties in speech, learning process, hearing , physical problems.

Medical – We are providing with one doctor and two medical assistants who cater to the medical needs of all the children of AFGJI.

Teaching Learning material – We are providing children with plenty of teaching learning material including audio –visual material , board games . These material are bought keeping in view the needs of all the children of special wing.

Books – Special wing is providing with a library to the children of special wing and also for the teachers

Stationary - Children are provided with all the stationary material including notebooks ,Pencil , eraser , adhesives, chart papers etc. They don’t have to bring any stationary item from home.

Recreation like - Picnics ,T.V room , Toy Room – Children are taken for excursion twice an year. They are also taken for educational trips . We are also providing our children with T.V and toy rooms where they watch cartoon and educational channel on television as well as children ‘s movies on DVS’S.
