Withdrawal
  • To withdraw a student, one month's advance notice in writing must be given to the school. If the notice period is short, the fee due on the first of the next month will also be charged.
  • Similarly a student who wants to discontinue the use of the school bus must give a month's notice or pay bus fee charges in lieu of notice period.
  • The school will issue a Transfer Certificate to a student only when he/she had cleared all school dues.
  • First and the Last payment of School dues is to be made by cash only.

Travel Concession

It will not be possible to issue concession voucher if application are not received within the period. Changes in date of travel and other amendments should, as far as possible, be completed a week prior to the closing of the School.

Airline Concession for Students
  • Request on proper form in case of Airline concession (obtainable from the respective Airlines Offices) must reach the School Office at least 7 days before the date when the concession voucher is required.
Railway Concession for students

Request on plain paper in the case of railway concession must reach the School Office at least 7 days before the date when the concession voucher is required. These will be issued only if following conditions are fulfilled:
  • Travel from the school to their home town or vice versa.
  • Travel from the school to an Examination Centre in India or vice versa.
Note : The term Home town connotes the Native place of the student, or the place where the parents or the guardians of the students normally reside, or the place where the parents or guardian of the students are residing at the time. However, if parents are alive, the question of availing of the concession or visiting guardians does not arise.

General Instructions for all students
  • Every student must carry his/her books in the school satchel of the approved pattern. A student's diary is compulsory.
  • Lab Coat (White Drill) for students of Class IX onward is compulsory.
  • A tag bearing the name of the pupil should be attached to the School blazer and jersey/pullover of the pupil.
  • Parents/Guardians are advised to order School uniform with the authorized School tailor. This will help to maintain uniformity in terms of texture and shade of material. School tie, belt, stocking etc. are specially ordered and sold through the School uniform shop. They are not available in the open market.
  • Pupils who are not correctly dressed and whose general appearance does not conform to regulations prescribed by the School will be sent home by the Principal/Vice Principal.
  • All home tasks must be submitted regularly and on time and should be initiated by the parens/guardian.
  • All class tests must be initiated by the parents/guardian.

Discipline
  • Irregular attendance, unjustified, unexplained absence, habitual late coming, disobedience or objectionable behavior of any kind may result in expulsion of a student from the School.
  • Pupils are strictly forbidden from leaving the School premises during regular School hours. Permission to do so will be granted only by the Principal / Vice Principal / Headmistress.
  • No pupil may go to the sick-bay during working hours without permission.
  • Pupils on their way to and from School are expected to behave in a responsibly manner.
  • Pupils are responsible to the School authorities for their conduct both in and outside the School. Misbehavior in public places and school buses will be dealt with severely.
  • Bus monitors will be responsible for orderly behavior.
  • Pupils should not board or alight from moving buses.
  • Pupils who expect to return late to their homes are responsible for informing their parents in advance.
  • Care should be taken to keep the building clean.
  • Ink should not be sprinkled on the walls and floors. Waste paper and other litter should be put in the dustbins. Pupils must not write on walls. School property willfully damaged or destroyed will have to be made good. A heavy fine including collective fine may also be imposed.
  • Breakage must be reported immediately to the Class Teacher.
  • The cost of repair caused by damages to the School property will be charged to the pupil concerned together with a fine.
  • The School is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings. Students should not bring valuables and costly items like transistors, calculator etc., to school.
  • Students Diary is compulsory and must be brought to School everyday.
  • Parents are requested to cooperate in the working of the school, in particular by enforcing regularity and discipline by evincing interest in their children's progress and by extending the fullest encouragement to participate in co-curricular and extra curricular activities. Parents should check the school diary regularly. They are requested to go through the remarks if any, from the-Class Teachers, the Subject Teachers or the House Tutors and follow instructions accordingly. When remarks are made in the diary the parent's/guardian's signatures is essential. Failure to comply with this rule may lead to disciplinary action.
  • During the absence of a teacher from the class, pupils must obey the monitor appointed to maintain good order. Running and shouting in the school premises is not allowed.
  •  When using staircases and corridors pupils must keep to the left.
  • Eating in class rooms, stair case and in the verandahs is not permitted.
  • Pupils are strictly forbidden from purchasing eatables from unauthorized vendors/hawkers near the school premises.
  • No monetary collection for any purpose may be made in the school without prior permission of the Principal.

Punctuality and Absence
  • A student must reach School well in time for morning assembly.
  • Leave of absence will not be granted on the first and the last day of the term.
  • No leave of absence will be granted except for special reasons.
  • An application for leave written by the parent/Guardian should be sent to the Class Teacher in advance. In case of illness where the application cannot be sent in advance, the leave application should be submitted to the Class Teacher on the first day of rejoining the school. A column for this purpose has been provided at the end of this diary.

Health & Sickness

We have a medical room within the premises of the school. A doctor is available on the call

  • In case of any accident or emergency during school hours, students are taken to the nearest Government Hospital in the case of NAF children and to the Army Hospital/Air Force MI/Room for the ward of Defence Personnel. Parents having telephone will be informed immediately.
  • The School arranges a Medical Examination of all students during the course of each academic year. An amount of Rs. 100/- will be charged from NAF children for annual medical examination.
  • It is essential that all Service Personnel give their Service No./ Account No./Pension No. to the children in the Boarding House so that in case of an emergency they can be admitted to the Army hospital without and difficulty.
  • Medical certificate is necessary in case of absence for more than three days due to sickness.
  • Students afflicted by infectious diseases or exposed to such diseases in their homes must complete the quarantine period before rejoining school. This should also be indicated on the medical certificate.

Library
  • One Library card will be issued to each student who wishes to borrow books. No book will be issued unless the Library Card issued in the student's own name in handed in. A Library Card is nontransferable, not to be lent or borrowed and is the property of School and must be returned if asked for.
  • Books must be returned by the last date stamped on the Date Label (normally two weeks from the date of issue). Books not requested for by other readers may be renewed at the Librarian's discretion. The Library cannot undertake to supply books on long term loan. All books must be returned before the end of each term.
  • Readers are responsible for all books issued in their names. Books lost, damaged or not returned when called for must be paid for. Fines will be charged for overdue books or for loss of library cards.
Co-Curricular Activities
  • Physical Education and Games are a compulsory part of the school curricular . A pupil will be exempted from participation in games & sports only if recommended by a Medical Officer.
  • Participation in other extra curricular activities like dramatics, music, debating, elocution, science clubs, literary clubs, art and craft, excursion, NCC, electronics, educational visits and the Interact club is encouraged.
