VIDYA BHUSHAN AWARD TO STUTI PRASAD
STUTI PRASAD of our school has been given the ‘VIDYA BHUSHAN AWARD’
for topping in the class 10th Boards (CBSE) in 2007, with 95% marks (total aggregate).
The Vidyabhushan Award was given to Stuti by the famous ‘Amul’ the flagship
brand of GCMMF Ltd, Anand, to recognise the academic excellence of class 10th school
topper.
This award was instituted in the year 2004-05, which includes:
a) Trophy
b) Crash Award of Rs 1000/-
c) An excellence Certificate
d) The winner would be featured in India’s leading newspaper and would get
National recognition.
BEST STUDENT OF SCHOOL AWARD BY TIMES OF INDIA TO CHIEN SHARMA
I got this award for what I am and for my achievements. Before selecting me for
the Best students of school award by Times of India, they have considered my academic
performance in class 10th and my achievements in extra-curricular activities. I
got 88% aggregate in CBSE board of class 10th Also I have been into sports. In athletics,
I have got 12 gold,5 silvers and 1 Bronze, in Delhi – State, Directorate of
Education I have also received 2 Gold , 5 Silvers and 1 Bronze in CBSE state competitions.
I also got 2nd place in Aquathlon at the Delhi State level. It includes 500 m swimming
followed by 5 km Running. Swimming is also my passion got few prizes at the CBSE
tournaments. My main strokes are free style and breast stroke. I got distinction
in 1st year classical vocal music exam, held all over India by Akhil Bhartiye Gandharva
Mahavidyalaya. I have received two scholarships from National Institute of Sports,
Patiala. The biggest achievement this year was my National Bronze medal. I had been
participating in Nationals from the past three years and now it’s like a dream
come true.
